CHAMP:Skinner's Figgy's Brew, the winner of the 2004 Rhythm 'n' Brews meant another long trip, this time down to Cornwall. Intrepid explorers Ian Jackson, Pete Fenwick and Ian McAlpine made the trip to Truro and were definitely not disappointed by the hospitality shown during their stay in the South West, staying in the GBG listed City Inn, pictured left, with an excellent range of beers incorporated in the "Home" and "Away" team bars.
Our trip to Cornwall was short but certainly sweet trip, special thanks to Alan (the Skinners handyman) who went out of the way to make us feel welcome, thanks to him especially for organising the taxi to Doghouse's brewery tap in Zelah, thus allowing the opportunity for a visit by "Darlington Beer Police".
